On April 20, 2026, the Department of Descriptive Geometry and Geometric Modeling (room 406) hosted an important meeting in the format of an open dialogue between teachers, program guarantors, students and a stakeholder.
During the meeting, current issues of improving educational programs, their compliance with modern labor market requirements and employer needs were discussed.
The guarantors of the educational programs participated in the discussion:
🔹 Svitlana Purhina — guarantor of the educational program "Geometric Modeling and Visualization of Industrial Products"
🔹 Serhii Saienko — guarantor of the educational program "Computer Design and 3D Modeling"
The stakeholder — V. V. Skriabin, chief designer of the "Eva Enterprise" company — also joined the discussion and provided valuable professional comments and recommendations on the content of the educational programs.
Particular attention was paid to strengthening the practical component of students' training, in particular the need to expand topics related to thermal calculations, computer simulation of physical processes and the use of Simulation Flow tools.
Such meetings are extremely important for the development of educational programs, as they allow combining the academic approach with the real needs of modern production and engineering practice.
